We often argue during our leisure
hours in office, in this election season, about Arvind Kejriwal and Narendra
Modi. Rahul Gandhi is no way in any discussion. Just thought of jotting down
portion of some of the common points that we discuss/argue about.
For many guys, sticking to chair should have been a
responsible action on Arvind Kejriwal's part. The same action(of abandoning the
power) is commendable in my opinion.
When it comes to differences between them on personal
ground, AK is far far better placed than Modi. Rather Modi is perceived as
devil, to be precise. Be it on education, be it on personal integrity, be it on intellectual talent or be it on human values, he just scores negatively. The recent TIME's 100 influential leaders'
poll reveals all the truth behind the perception that the world carries of the
two leaders.
Now let’s forget about world view, in India itself, barring
few, most intellectuals don't see him as good PM, or rather candidate. Creating
a wave is just a matter of possessing money, and taking the general perception
along that wave is just the result of that. But great nation is never built by
person of shallow intellect. It was liberal Gandhi who gave us this great
nation, not Jinna.
Why India can never be compared with Pakistan, just because
we've humane quality which they dont have. India is where every person can
breath not just Hindus. And, it is strongly felt that Modi is gonna make India
another Pakistan. So for me Modi is inhuman. Period.
This is when Modi supporters come down to his development
profile.
The shaky ground of development just to justify Modi's
candidature is simply mindless. Time and again, in various reports by various
agencies, it has been proved that he has supported only big industries and sold
farmers' land at throwaway prices to them. And never bothered about the plight
of SME's. Thousands of them have shut down.
Even if we assume that Modi would be doing development super
fast and infrastructure development would be carried out as in HongKong. We all
know what is happening in HongKong. You can't move around without wearing
masks. Air pollution, there, is at that critical stage. Go to Vapi in Gujarat,
smell the Sulfuric Acid non stop in every inch of it-in the name of
development.
What we need is sustainable development and healthy
environment.
Here 'Period' was meant for stopping glorification of Modi,
not to stop discussion. Healthy discussion should go on.
As we counter each of their argument, they try pin-pointing
the mistakes of Arving Kejriwal thinking that we, as AAPians, would defend even
the mistakes.
I agree that AK should have taken more care before calling
that Janta Darbar. There was a gross underestimation on his and his team's
part. But he promised that the grief redressal would continue with different
mode of communication. His Govt hardly survived. 49 day is less than sufficient
for a Govt to judge. I don't know why you are saying his actions were doubtful.
His actions, rather, establishes his credibility. With Dharna for DP he at
least brought in some sense in the otherwise ruthless DP. Yes, I agree, in case
of Bungalow raw he should have followed what he once preached.
Forming Govt in Delhi is what they always call a back stab
then I say Arving Kejriwal is better professional than just a
Old-Age-Kasam-Keeping-Fanatic. It was in the interest of Delhi to form Govt
when BJP irresponsibly back tracked.
But are these issues make him ineligible to be voted when we
have demons like Yeddi, Jagan, Radadia blah blah in Modi's camp. Certainly not.
In this time of crisis-of-leadership, all we need is a person with good intent;
be it for infrastructure development, for humanity index growth or for job
creation. Just imagine, had we stopped illegal export of iron ore from Bellary
region, how much new job avenues would have been created. So AK's intention to
stop corruption will actually create jobs and branding his party an
one-agenda-party is just senseless. But sadly India is headed towards the
opposite. Only God save can us.
In an attempt to anyway maintain an upper edge for their
endorsement they say it is in nations long term interest that Modi is voted to
power and not Arving Kejriwal as he is a fresher in politics.
I say it is in fact in the long term interest of India that
AK is voted to power else these billionaire would further become
multi-billionaire and we'll keep struggling to buy even moderate 1 bed room
apartment.
For instance consider the case of Kinfisher's Mallaya. Does
he ever bother how many of his grounded airline employees are suffering on
daily basis? No. Isn't this a simple
case of inhumanity. Why isn't Govt
questioning banks for extending him loan when his company was not making profit
for straight 3 years. SBI's capital comes from our I-T. Why aren't banks
recovering their money from his securities? Do you think Modi can ever take any
action on them? Never. He would rather serve them with free land or for that
matter with exemptions.
Good sense will only prevail when Swaraj comes into effect.
Have you ever thought why in your area common amenities are in bad shape when
Govt gives every MP Rs 5 Cr per year for development. It is in national
interest that Swaraj comes into effect.
